On December 10, the world celebrated Human Rights Day, the very day when in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
With this, last December 9, SIKAP received a plaque of appreciation from the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Caraga for being one of their prominent partners in promoting and protecting human rights services in the region.
CHR Caraga conducted the Stakeholder's Recognition in Celebration of “Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All”: a year-long campaign to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This was a culmination event of the 2022 National Human Rights Consciousness Week held at the LMX Convention Center, Libertad, Butuan City.
