In its desire to be an efficient and effective organization, SIKAP devoted time and resources for the Review and Enhancement of its Manual of Operations. Facilitated by Dr. Rex T. Linao via Zoom from Davao City, the activity was conducted on June 17-20 & 25, 2020 at Mabe’s Savory Place, Barangay 1, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. The activity was conducted under Pillar 2 - Organizational Strengthening of the Sexual Health and Empowerment (SHE) Project that is supported by OXFAM and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
The activity was instrumental in the formulation of two (2) manuals, both necessary for SIKAP’s existence, namely:
Financial Management Manual, and- Operations Manual
New inclusions in the updated Operations Manual of SIKAP are the programs on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
Also forming part of the Operations Manual are the following:
- a) Child Protection Policy;
- b) Data Privacy Policy; and
- c) Policy on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).
